Emmanuel Church is an active congregation working in partnership with Holy Trinity (Church of England) and St Edmund’s (Catholic Church) through Churches Together in Bungay (CTB).

Sundays: 10:45am (all year)
Holy Communion first Sunday each month (please check current plan under services)

Wednesday games Club
Last Wednesday of the month held in the Orange Hall between 14.15-16.15
Coffee Stop
Held in the Emmaus room every Tuesday morning from 10.15-11.45 all welcome
Luncheon Club
Held once a month in the Orange Hall (behind the Church) at 12:30 for 12:45
Inexpensive, home-cooked two-course meal (£5) with tea/coffee
Open to all, not just church members, by invitation only

Eco Church – Environmental Project
Began in 2007 with a Climate Change Conference
Phase 1 (2009): Planning of 220 solar panels on church halls
Phase 2 (2015): Victorian school buildings renovated; won Suffolk Greenest County Award
2016: First church in England and Wales to achieve Silver Eco-Church Award
Phase 3 (2018–2021): Support for small Third World projects (£250/year), reduce carbon footprint, gained Gold Eco-Church Award (21st church to do so)
Focus on worship, mission, lifestyle, and caring for God’s creation
Live Streaming
From April 2022, services, weddings, and funerals can be streamed live
Room Hire
Meeting rooms from £5/hr, large hall from £8/hr
Hall suitable for games, dance, exercise, or parties
Fixed fee for parties: £30 (children under 14), £50 (adults) + £100 returnable damage deposit
